Pros

You will make a lot of money for a definite period of time. If you like working with the military and traveling in war zones as an adventure this is it. In general the client (US military) have high levels of integrity and treat other people with respect, but there are exceptions.

Cons

You are going to be overseas in a war zone. There is an extremely high turnover of people who just couldn't take it. Some quit after just a few days, and others after a few months. The possibility of being killed or injured is real. If you are not good at dealing with ethical dilemmas on a daily basis, this is not for you. At some locations there is a deeply entrenched "ol boys" club of unqualified workers that have received "battle field" promotions. They will play every game and trick in the book to run off qualified professionals. One manager went through 27 professional grade employees during a 2-1/2 year period; they did not quit they were ran off because they had qualifications for the job that the manager did not.

Pros

Full integration with host company. They did offer a great 401K program, but were required to make cutbacks in benefits to continue to be competitive as a supplemental labor supplier.

Cons

They did offer a great 401K program, but cut out all IAP deposits other than matching. Sick leave dropped to 6 days per year.

Pros

as long as you know how to do your job, you don't have to worry about seeing anyone in your chain of command

Cons

If you want equal compensation for your work compaired to others, you wont get it. the more you know, the more they expect. The promise you everything, and deliver nothing. You send an email asking for information, IF you get a response, your lucky, and if you get it within 3 weeks your probably somewhat important to them.
