Not coming from an insurance background I did not know what to expect starting at IAT. I quickly realized that this was the best career move I have yet to make. My team works to help move, not only this company, but each other forward. I am always encouraged to share ideas, ask questions and think outside the box. My manager makes a point to check-in and make sure that my work load is not too much. Even asking if there is anything they can do to help! I have never had a manager that has been so invested and in-tune with their team. IAT really focuses on their employee's well-being and continued career advancements within the company. I am very fortunate to have joined IAT. There is a bright future for this company and those who work for it.

The company has gone down hill. They try to keep you around by throwing money at you (bonuses, pto increase, pay more than other insurance companies etc) . They do not focus on real issues though. Management is terrible. They don’t know how to identify which managers are good for the company and which ones are not. One manager got rid of his whole team locally so that they can have all Remote employees (makes their job easier?) HR doesn’t even see it. One manager fired someone for parking in visitors 2 times when there was no immediate parking. Most departments do not have a written manual - set up for failure and causes opinions to be thrown around from person to person, why isn’t this one of the 1st priorities as a company They do not care....they act like they do as long as you are bribing in money. If they did they would make sure things change with management. Bias classes isn’t enough. Pay attention IAT

There are no good reasons to work for this company since all of the competent & knowledgeable employees and managers with people skills & quality leadership skills that actually treated employees & agents with respect have all left or are looking to leave. Would not have even given this company 1 star but there is no option for zero star rating

Cons

Management is clueless & has zero people skills not to mention any type of knowledge or common sense regarding the insurance industry. Highest turnover rate of any company o have ever worked for. Agents do not even approve of the companys current executive management & leadership & complains about how the company currently operates as a whole. No employee appreciation for hard work & dedication. Could go on & on about the toxic work environment at this company best advice would be to run as fast as u can & don’t look back. Will be the best career decision you ever make
