Pros

The work-life balance is great. The focus is on the work being done and not the arbitrary amount of hours that you need to spend in the office, so if you get all of your work done then you can go home. Keep in mind that I am doing a full-time internship and can only speak form that perspective.

Cons

The cubicles aren't necessary. There is not really a collaborative atmosphere at least for my project. People seem to be segregates. There needs to be more introduction across the teams to make the work atmosphere social and friendly.

Nice big company. IBM's policies and management are very flexible when it comes to working remotely or accommodating various life situations (sick days, doctor visits, etc.). Management is encouraged to measure an employee by their work and

Cons

This is an intern job and I don't see there are Cons. Maybe the manager can assign more work for intern to provide more learning opportunities.
