Pros

Great place to work. Good atmosphere in the office

Cons

Company is not willing to match what others in the same or similar are doing to retain and motivate employees. No pay rises amid the company making millions in profit is a kick in the face. Especially in trying times.

I appreciate you sharing your feedback and am glad to hear the London office has a good atmosphere. ICF benchmarks on an annual basis to keep its salaries and compensation fair and competitive. As we are in a business where we negotiate contracts with our clients and select projects that align with our values, salaries can depend on the budget of the client and assignments. In addition to salaries, ICF invests in total compensation for employees—including wellbeing, employee experience, and learning. ---LL

Pros

The work environment started out fantastic, with very progressive management ideas and employee environment. The processes are best in class.

Cons

A reorganization of the proposal department, and introduction of a new director, left everyone wondering what happened to the great work environment. So much so that an average of one employee left per month for the last 10 months. It has turned into a toxic environment. If you are a proposal professional, keep looking elsewhere.

Pros

They work with some really big name clients which helps with their image and level of working. Average salary with a lackluster commission package.

Cons

No training. No progression. No development. No one to help you. Very slow pace at a higher level makes opportunities go cold. Every promise they made lead to nothing. Didn't improve functions, didn't improve technology, didn't improve any part of the sales cycle including the entire team leaving with no hires and absolutely no support. The targets are realistic but the way of getting to them is nearly nonexistent.
