Pros

Fast growing company. The stock has never been higher. Great benefits. All the night supervisors are helpful. They help their departments except the processing supervisor. Great lab tech jobs. Take advantage when cross training. It will help you in the future. Best place to get all the experience. Take advantage!

Cons

Mostly graveyard shift but pay is great and so are the tech jobs. Stay away from processing department though. The processing supervisor has no clue how to run the department. Very dis functional. Cannot solve simple problems. Does not help team. Consistently unreliable.

Can't think of anything harsh to say! Yes we have to work to earn our salaries but everyday is different!

I have worked for 7 year IDEXX Lab at Westbrook and it is the worst company to get better pay or advance specially if your last name sound not like European descendent, You better have a family member working at upper level to get advantages to advance your career. even If you have the training or the knowledge / degree to the job well. you make less your counterpart , who don't have the knowledge or the degree.

Cons

after working 7 year I came up an improvement that would save the company $100,000 every year and as long as that company is open. I was the one who invented the tool for them what did I got $50 gift card, my collage got 20X more them me, discrimination to the teeth. even when I gave them 2 week notification, If I apply to a different company a job they want respond to the company X, if you use them as reference because you have work at IDEXX + 7 years. discrimination is in full practice from HR to supervisor.
