      You have to be a driver if you want to advance in the organization Just doing your job is not always enough There are very high expectations of employees at IDEXX

      Rapid growth and evolution mean new challenges and opportunities around every corner Maintains the entrepreneurial spirit of a "younger" company, but with greater financial stability Company is very committed to environmental and communnity service initiatives Very rewarding to be part of a company that improves the health of animals Location (Southern Maine) has a reasonable cost of living and is great place to raise a family

      The pace of growth and change can be difficult to manage People who prefer consistency and structure may become frustrated Communication at all levels (downward from leadership, across lines of business, within groups, etc) could use improvement Very long winters in Maine!

      The location is good -- Maine.

      Pay is only acceptable due to the poor economy; people would bail if they could. There are managers who have no idea how to treat people with respect.
