More lay-offs are coming.

Pros

Lots of wasteful spending to buy unnecessary equipment that people take home and use for their personal use. IGT has no repercussions for lack of accountability.

Cons

You will be laid-off once the CRDC (China Research and Development Center) is fully functional and up to speed. You will be reprimanded for thinking outside the box with suggestions for improvement and efficiency. You will be expected to NOT question authority.

Pros

IGT has really good engineering and architecture teams.

Cons

The company is now run by Apollo, a PE firm that appointed a new CEO, Hector Fernandez. They're ruining the company's future by cutting key engineering staff who do critical work, to reduce expenses. There's no investment in the future, they're only interested in draining the cash out. It's now a pretty bad place to work.

Pros

You will learn how to hide various compliance regulations from each and every Jurisdiction in which IGT operates. You will learn how to make sure it is your boss that gets in trouble when the various gaming jurisdictions start levying fines. You will never have to worry about CYA ever again. You will get good at it here. The job title should be called. "CYA technition level III" You will learn how to keep from being thrown under the bus. I left in 2017 and opened my own business. The greatest thing about this company is you will learn why it is better to be a business owner, than a peon employee.

Cons

IGT was awesome until Patti Hart gutted it and sold it out to Gtech. Wait, they called it a merger..lol. You'll be asked to lie about the status of the various security protocols, you will be ordered to violate them, and then ordered to report to the gaming jurisdictions that everything is in good order. If you follow orders, and the regulators discover that you've lied, Management will blame you for everything and lie to the regulators that you made the boss aware of the flaws. Make sure you have every order given to you in an e-mail saved in multiple locations. If you are asked to do something illegal, just refuse and blow the whistle on them to the gaming jurisdictions. Then just start looking for another job. This one is not worth it. Do not go above and beyond, the boss will just steal any good ideas you implement, and then blame you for his failures. Also, just assume anyone in HR or Management is blowing smoke up your hoo hoo.
