IGT reviews

IGT uses a recruiter to find applicants for this position, but the promises made by the recruiter are not guaranteed to be honored. In my case, IGT's recruiter came back with a much better offer after I declined the first one. Their exact words were "We got everything you asked for!" I took the position based on what the recruiter said to me, but after weeks of employment my supervisor told me that none of the recruiter's promises were valid. I expressed my displeasure at how poorly I had been treated, specifically about being lied to about the compensation. I was told that my contract is all that matters, and all of the promises made by the recruiter can and will be reneged. I was gobsmacked to hear this, but both my supervisor and his supervisor confirmed that whether or not I had been lied to was irrelevant. My supervisor ended our last meeting by telling me that I was not welcome at the company, though his supervisor immediately walked that back. My only recourse is to keep working, and warn others against joining an unscrupulous company such as this. I am shocked at how I've been treated, but you won't be after reading this!

If you have confidence when hired, it will be chipped away slowly over time - so slowly that you may not at first realize it is happening. Only when you are near suicide will you realize what they have done to you. Then you will begin to fight for who you are and what you believe.
