A former great company that may never recover from mismanagement

Pros

A 5 hour workday. There is usually someone else that does the actual work. Directors are seldom around so freedom for long lunches reducing the workday to 3 hours.

Cons

The bonus amount gets considerably smaller each year. Stock grants are gone for managers. Most managers can't do their jobs while a large minority do not even know their product line. It is very hard to be motivated for even the simplest tasks.

Pay scale is 20 years behind, management cuts corners even at the expense of productivity and safety, management is completely disengaged, if you desire work life balance you must force it, management slow to praise- quick to scold, management makes job more difficult than it needs to be.

Great benefits, flexible hours when on salary to allow for person appointments, encourage growth and had online learning available for a variety of skills.

Cons

A lot of bureaucracy with senior management, no loyalty to their employees, any one of them would throw any subordinate under the bus to save face, save their job, or get where they want to go.
