Pros

Good teams nice people, quite flexible. laid back work environment and low stress positions. Great place to work for.

Cons

Pay scales are on the low side, travel is required and not well reimbursed, hours can often be less than consistent. Overall minor inconveniences that are easy to deal with.

Pros

If you are young and want to learn IT and various other skills then it might be worth it to deal with all of the cons associated with this position, everyone else should move on and find other things to do with your life.

Cons

Tedious background checks to start with. Long time poor management (recent upper management firings for favoritism non-withstanding) lead to depressed morale, envy, and anger. Pay is low until you can make the right impressions or play the game well enough to move up and hopefully out to another department.

Pros

Good work life balance. Benefits are still pretty good. Generally stable company. If you just want a paycheck and want to put in your time it is a good place.

Cons

Capping of promotions and salaries. Declining benefits. Slow moving, out dated software development processes. Resistance to change - Things are done because "that's how its always been done" with no supporting reason. Have little to no voice in product development.
