Pros

It's nice to have the freedom to come and go whenever, and I've learned a lot from Sales that I know will benefit me in the future - whatever I get into.

Cons

Can be micro-managed at times and account distribution can be unfair.

Pros

Lots of oppotunity to learn and be a better sales person. Incentives and bonuses for acheivement. Being in more control of you income.

Cons

The workplace can be too political especially since the Ricoh takeover. You need to filter out the negative and look after yourself. Not a lot of information is forthcoming so a lot of rumours true and false go around.

Benefits suck, no leadership, no formal training for new employeers, absolutely no job security.
