Pros

Flexible work schedule, office is NOT located in downtown.

Cons

INEOS boasts of being the 3 largest manufacturing company world-wide unfortunately they operate completely separate from the other entities and more along the lines of a Mom and Pop Shop working out of the garage. There are no synergies between local sites much less regionally, nationally or globally. I have taken at least five steps back in my personal growth and development.

Pros

Average benefits, good people working there.

Cons

Micromanagers, using very old software, processes...Very time consuming processes that could be eliminated or reduced by using new technologies available. Did I mention Micromanaging? Everything, every decision has to be reviewed by top management. In the meantime you're on holding pattern and your customers are getting upset and going to competitors for a faster response. Even expenses for day to day operations have to be pre-approved (include feedstock!) which tends to create less than optimal production runs. At times we get cut off from our feedstock because we're waiting on approval from top management. Company is still run as if we're in the 1950's...dominated by white male management and outdated business culture. Rather than reward their employees with trust and better benefits, the same top management is spending millions of cash on losers football, sailing, cycling teams,....while paying its suppliers late. Room for advancement are almost non-existent. Company affiliates are so SILOED that one can rarely jump into a different division for advancement. No work life balance at all. All INEOS is interested in is filling up office space with people rather than being safe during a pandemic. Human resources overturn medical advice on return to work after being diagnosed with COVID19.

Pros

There are not many pros to working for this company, except that it is a stable job, and they paychecks show up twice a month.

Cons

There is no attempt at career development, no opportunity for advancement, and no interest in paying competitive wages.
