Pros

Stable company, decent work/life balance, schedule was great, benefits available were decent for the market, fun employee perks offered as a “thank you” or to celebrate local happenings, local discounts offered to employees associated with certain businesses.

Cons

Supervisors are sometimes given too much free reign of their departments. Upper management appears oblivious to daily happenings of some departments including overall workflow and how their direct reports are managing staff.

Pros

I learned a lot about the industry. Most employees were great but there are a handful that weren’t especially in the wealth department.

Cons

The processes are extremely inefficient, which creates a poor work-life balance. The workload is constantly overwhelming, and overtime is often required just to keep up because workflows are not organized or effective. Management is also a major issue—my direct manager showed little concern for employees and did not provide adequate support. Upper management is largely disengaged and tends to treat administrative roles as beneath them, ignoring ongoing problems instead of addressing them.
