Pros

- Good salary (slight above the average) - Skilled colleagues to learn from - Interesting projects

Cons

- Lack of communication from top management - Not a clear product vision: too many products with overlapping features. - The office space and facilities are not exactly the best. Not at the level of a corporate. - Support team is not trained enough and a lot of work goes back to Dev, for no valid reason.

Management is strong, so strong that it forces employees to put positive reviews on Glassdoor against a bonus... Is it allowed by Glassdoor Term of Use ?

Cons

The list is so long that I cannot list them all... Think twice before adding ION GROUP to your resume... It might stain it for a long time...

Pros

Although it has recently been acquired by a larger organization (ION), Lab49 maintains a culture of a small software consulting company. Engineers get to work on a wide variety of technologies building software for its capital market clients. Interesting and challenging work, competitive pay, good work/life balance. Most engineers get the chance to change projects several times a year, which allows you to learn different technologies and problem domains and work with different teams. Ample opportunity to stand out and be recognized

Cons

Communication from top-level management could be better and was lacking during the ION transition where there was some confusion. Things have improved on that front.
