Pros

Decent salary and benefits and the company will train you.

Cons

Oh boy where to start... 1) Rampant nepotism by the family-run management. CEO is her own category of awful - bipolar management style with a literal vision to destroy the company. 2) Ungodly work hours and expectations. You CAN expect to never get a raise despite literally carrying your department. 3) Constant backstabbing on the part of management and supervisors. They all gossip about each other take part in Game of Thrones-esque plotting against each other. 4) Horrible facilities, The stench of the bathrooms is unbearable and management refuses to fix it. 5) Despicable work culture. It's a good ol' boys (or girls, if you're friends with the CEO, and the work culture tolerates discrimination, nepotism, and in one case, outright racism. I can keep going but these are the highlights, Don't waste your time and sanity working here.

Pros

IPT Well Integrity Solutions are meant for the entire Well Lifecycle, which includes Pre-Deployment, Drilling, Completion & Workover, Production, Intervention, and even Decommission.

Cons

The work culture was horrible. Employees were ridiculously terrified of the leadership. They knew that if the people in power got offended, they could make things terrible. So, everyone adjusted to the poor systems, processes, and culture. No one shared any feedback or expected any change. It was depressing.

Pros

1) You might get your own office. 2) The company has a lot of data that can be used for innovative stuff but lacks the foresight. 3) The regular co-workers are decent human beings. I did not meet any person with a bad attitude among the regular workers.

Cons

1) Management lacks integrity. Do not believe any promises in your offer letter. 2) Family-run business. You will do well if you are friends with the family, otherwise, it's a roll of the dice. 3) The company talks about innovation but lacks the will to follow through. 4) Nepotism is the order of the day. Competence doesn't matter; all that matters is how close you are to the family. 5) Poor code quality in the codebase I worked on this led to inefficiencies. If you come in to try to improve things, you would be out the door before you know it because certain people may feel threatened. While there I did my best to improve code quality and efficiency by creating an internal tool that everyone used and loved.

We take all feedback seriously, but this review requires correction. This individual was employed at IPT for less than six months and was released due to poor performance and lack of delivery. While we encourage new ideas and value contributions from all team members, those expectations come with accountability—something that was not demonstrated during their time here. The claims regarding code quality are not only inaccurate, but also misleading. This individual never had access to the core codebase and was not involved in any production development work. The “internal tool” referenced was neither reviewed nor adopted by the broader team, and we have no record of measurable impact. IPT is a fast-moving, agile company that leads the industry in well integrity and pressure testing software. We work with top operators across the globe and are constantly evolving our products through innovative thinking, collaboration, and engineering excellence. That level of delivery requires a high-performing, committed team—and we’re proud of the one we have. We stand by our values of integrity, merit-based growth, and mutual respect. We remain focused on building a strong, inclusive, and forward-thinking workplace—one that rewards results, not rhetoric.
