The company's refreshing approach to hierarchy encourages me to feel confident in both asking questions and contributing my own ideas, even when interacting with far more senior colleagues. The supportive and casual relationships with my team creates a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, fostering constant learning and development of the teams portfolio. One concern I had before starting was that I wouldn't find many others my age, but I was pleasantly surprised by the youthful workforce which allows for a good work-life balance. The opportunities to travel so early on in your career are also amazing. What truly stands out is the immediate trust and respect I received when I started. I've been treated as an important member of the team from day one, which has helped a lot with my confidence. There is a strong focus on 'people' within the company and you are highly valued as an individual not just an employee. Additionally, the diversity of my team is something I love and it has been great to learn about so many different cultures and languages.
Cons
Whilst for me this is an aspect of IQPC that I love, if you do not enjoy a lot of responsibility and a fast-paced working environment from the offset, even when not in a senior position, you may struggle slightly. Expectations are high but your sense of achievement will match this.
