Pros

You will learn so much about businesses and sales in a short period. Like any sales job, it can be a grind but you make a lot of friends, the culture club initiatives are nice, and if you're a top producing person- you're given a lot of freedom. (management opportunities, remote days, more event travel, etc.) I came in w/ very little sales experience and have learned so much about sales in a short period. I struggled at first, I had only sold tangible products/software and it took me a few months to really grasp it. I really did not understand what I was selling until I went onsite. The actual events are really awesome to go to: 5 star hotels, different cities, and you really get to know other team members when working the events together.

Cons

If you're good- you're given more freedom/opportunities but that also means you have to figure out a lot on your own. So don't expect much hand holding and defintely don't expect to be granted something just because someone else has it. Lacks tools and we work off of outdated systems. Could use more leads

Pros

Excellent opportunities for training and development, with personalised IDPs for all team members. IQPC prides itself on being a meritocracy; those who work hard to deliver results and who demonstrate the company’s values will flourish. This is a great place to work, whatever level you are at. Whilst IQPC is particularly strong at bringing in fresh graduates and training them to a really high standard, the same excellent training and development opportunities are available to those joining at a more experienced level. Those who are hungry for growth and learning will succeed. The people at IQPC make it one of the best places to work. It’s great to work with such passionate, hardworking (and fun!) individuals. It’s a relatively ‘flat’ organisation with limited red tape, so ownership is given to team members and there is a great opportunity to test and try new things (particularly speaking from a marketing perspective).

Cons

The pace isn’t for everyone; as with most conference companies it is a very fast paced environment. There is a very strong focus on targets and revenue (which I actually like), but this can be quite ‘marmite’ – you either love it or hate it. The benefits could be better, although the UK HR/senior management team are working on improving this recently. More of the same please!

Pros

have some friends at work

Cons

so obvious that MD and HR have written most of the positive reviews (not the one about the employee being sick – that is true but company have no choice and have to help that employee anyways). I saw the positive reviews. I don’t think so if the MD stays late it means the company will do well. She should stay late right? The company is in this condition because of her decisions. She only helps few employee. The rest of the time ignores people. does not have basic manners. In front of guests from other offices, acts very kind and polite and as if she is with employee. Double face.
