Pros

The company is 45 years old and financially stable. The division I work in, the Exchange Division, is by far the industry leader in the one-to-one meeting space. We have had significant year-over-year growth in the 5+ years I have been with the company. Therefore, the opportunities for personal and professional advancement are terrific (I have chosen to stay in sales vs management because that is where my passion is). The sales training is world class. The Benefits - insurance, PTO and Holiday time off - are all great, along with quarterly offsite activities. The company has many successful people - some who came in when just starting their careers and some with several years of experience. It's there if you want it.

Cons

This is not a con - it's a fact - we are a sales organizations - we have KPI's. There are no overnight successes, it takes time and effort, but for those who are dedicated and looking for a career it's a great place to be.

Pros

Your colleagues become your family. The training is on going and always have the full support from managers. Working here will open up great avenues I’m the future

Cons

The base is very low but commission structure is good. You get out what you put in. Invest some money into making the officer nicer

Pros

You're given substantial responsibility very quickly, so your resume and LinkedIn can get built up very quickly. Great networking opportunities across a variety of industries and sectors. You'll have the opportunity to speak with senior managers, executives and thought leaders. The work is interesting, you don't work on a topic long enough to get bored of it, and your focus within the topic is on the latest developments. Great work culture, fast moving and busy environment. Learning on the job, you're expected to learn fairly quickly and are trusted with making decisions. This being said the senior producers will schedule catch ups and are always happy to take the time to give you some guidance and feed back if you need it.

Cons

Not many options as far as an upward career trajectory within the company, especially if you're starting as a producer (though there is potential to relocate internationally). However, you will learn many useful skills very quickly that will serve you well if you move on. You're going to be overwhelmed if you go into the role not expecting a challenge. The work isn't technically complex but you're responsible for delivering a product on a fairly strict time frame, and though there's a process, things aren't always straightforward.
