Pros

If you have been here a few years you have decent companies who account for most of the commission. Power hour is fun, just make sure you have been to the toilet beforehand, the wait for the toilets after can take fifteen or twenty min and it's not a great look going during power hours

Cons

Training is awkward at best and hardly relevant. Leads in most areas have already been spoken to a thousand times. Your job is mainly to source leads and a team leader will do the closing and it's rare they keep to the time arranged with client that the conversation will take place, also it can feel a bit cringe watching them use exactly the same pitches on every single call.

Fun environment with lots of opportunity to make good money and build your professional network. Amazing office building and location with extremely helpful management. I'd highly recommend everyone with a good sales background to apply

The colleagues. Occasional training.

Cons

The quality of the product itself. The lack of resources. Compensation or lack thereof. Vacations often denied. Poor and old tech equipment. The NY office dictates everything, all other offices lack autonomy. Upper management is not really qualified for the job. You feel like you are working tons of hours for little money and so the founder and his son can buy another Porsche and fuel their jet. Absolutely no satisfaction out of what you do.
