Pros

You are able to make a difference, empowered and the business has great leaders who encourage you to do the right thing to help grow you and grow the business. I work as part of a high performing team where we might not always agree but we have each others back and ensure we deliver for the benefit of the business and the customers.

Cons

Sometimes there can be a silo mentality due to the functional nature of the structure however suspect this is same in most functional businesses. In addition we all worked tremendously hard by choice so you have to be prepared to make sacrifices sometimes.
