With respect to work during busy seasons, we do provide attractive productivity-linked monetary incentives for the extra hours worked by the employees. Our people are at the heart of what we do, and we work hard to ensure our employees feel supported. As part of this commitment, we provide managers with the skills they need to motivate, develop, and inspire their teams through our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme. This initiative provides managers with ongoing support, training for communication and emotional intelligence, HR coaching, and wellbeing tools to help support their employees and help them perform at their best. Equally, we are committed to paying our employees fairly and competitively for their hard work and are delighted to be officially recognised as a Real Living Wage employer. This means we promise to pay a fair wage to cover the real cost of living in the UK, as calculated by the Real Living Wage Foundation. We also run an annual salary review process and offer pay scales in select departments to automatically reward employees when they hit career milestones. In addition, career progression and personal development is of the upmost importance to us at IRIS. From secondments, which offer employees an opportunity to expand their skillset, work on different tasks, and plan their future career goals, to our Mentoring Scheme, which encourages employees to share their knowledge and expertise in support of their colleagues’ progression and development. We also provide a fantastic variety of fully funded training, with our Spring/Summer curriculum containing 37 courses, and supporting sponsored apprenticeships and other educational qualifications, with 19 new apprentices in the last 12 months. We are also proud to support the hundreds of employees who are nominated each year to join our High Potential Programme, which provides employees with the opportunity to network, gain new skills, and self-reflect on their own development through a range of activities to develop their career with us. One of IRIS’ core goals is to delight its employees, and we are committed to making all our employees feel welcome and supported. For our Sales employees, we are proud to provide individualised coaching with a personal development expert, as well as other great training and continuous development and career opportunities. We also reward our fantastic sales for hitting their target with our fantastic commission scheme. This initiative has included rolling out the same scheme across Sales, moving to monthly commission payments, simplifying tiers and types of order and the chance to earn 200% of commission once you hit your target. We are also delighted to have rewarded one of our commercial team members with an electric scooter as part of the range of incentives and competitions we run throughout the year. This year, we are also excited to see our Elite Club winners be rewarded with a luxury trip to Las Vegas! We also encourage employee feedback through Peakon, our monthly engagement survey. This tool enables employees to share their ideas with managers and senior leaders in real time, allowing them to respond to comments immediately and act on ideas and. So that our employees are enabled to immediately make an #IMPACT. We are delighted that since its launch, employees shared more than 50,000 comments and managers posted over 42,000 updates, responses, and follow-up questions.
