Pros

You make good friends with the people

Cons

Where to start? The company had a restructure and made a lot of staff redundant, then decided to merge all of sales into one. What is happening now is that the restructure was done so poorly that even more staff (long term, years long serving staff members too) have left. Now there is a drought of knowledge about the products and current staff have hardly anyone to turn to for help. Customers are getting increasingly irate with all departments because no one knows how processes work any more so everything is done extremely slowly, if at all! They have also been pushing for going back to the office despite the threat to public health and the concerns of many staff who think this is a terrible time to be going back with cases rising so badly in the north west. Its like there is no care for our own health, or the health of our families right now (especially when we can do our jobs from home). It doesn’t feel like you’re cared for, as if you try to voice a concern you are shot down by being told you’re being too negative. We need to voice our concerns to you so we can work through them! Fewer people are earning commission now more than ever due to raised targets, poor account data and a new commission scheme which means you are paid bonus each quarter instead of each month. This isn’t the same job most of us walked into where we earned a decent amount of money.

Thanks so much for leaving a review, although we’re surprised and disappointed by your comments. There have been many changes within Sales to give everyone the best opportunities for success and we have done our upmost to share the benefits and been transparent about the impact of the changes on a regular basis. The wider transformation is exciting as it enables us to share expertise and provide greater opportunities for employees across the IRIS family, it increases the potential for cross selling to support our growth, and it helps us provide the best possible service to our customers. We have also increased the training and development resources on offer for all our salespeople to support them in meeting targets. Sales enablement training sessions are now also available in a variety formats, focusing on our products and solutions with the addition of a dedicated platform for sharing content, guides and demos. It is important that we empower our salespeople so we've also created a specialised team of product and presales experts to support them. Unquestionably, we must have the right tools to recognise those who deliver high and exceptional performance, and we have launched a new Sales club (Elite Club) which offers an end of year trip for our highest performing salespeople and a number of encouraging awards along the way. We hope these initiatives go some way to reassure you that we care about our salespeople and their success. We care about your opinions and we’re sorry to hear this hasn’t been your experience recently. We have recently launched Peakon, a tool that allows you to give feedback to your manager and the senior team anonymously and in real time. We are working closely on this to ensure that all suggestions, concerns and ideas raised are listened to and encourage managers to work with you to act upon them. If you have any feedback in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact your manager, HR representative, or Stephanie Kelly, our Chief People Officer, in complete confidence so that we can help you. Kind regards, the HR team

Pros

Interesting technology and wonderful co-workers. Lots of interesting opportunities for motivated people. Some amazing longevity with some of the employees yet, there seems to be a genuine start feel (and some craziness) to much of the company.

Cons

Can be a chaotic environment to work in (particularly during Covid lockdown). You do need to step up and sometimes demand to be noticed/ask for help as the pace in some parts of the company is pretty hectic at times

Pros

Loads of great people to work with, lots of opportunities to grow your career and hard work is genuinely recognised and rewarded.

Cons

Can be long hours, as is the nature of high growth PE companies but the work on whole is very rewarding.
