Pros

Good job to have on your resume.

Cons

The work is stressful and you can rarely take breaks in between high stress calls. Your time is tracked every second as soon as you clock in and if you’re not on a call right away management will ask you why and essentially force you to take a call and that’s how the day goes until you’re off and the lines are ALWAYS busy. Worked in the collections department and many people can be rude, even though they’re the ones that are calling. This was the most stressful time in my career. I’m glad I’m no longer here.

Pros

The pros were I was surrounded by an amazing, diverse team that all had a shared passion of helping others. As someone who was transitioning careers, it was great having my team members who were kind and patient. Bonus points for having an amazing manager who truly cared about you and wanted you to succeed.

Cons

Outdated technology, specifically the platforms we were using, which came with its own headaches. With being new to the Federal Government, the processes and procedures were overwhelming, especially for smaller things that could have been fixed without jumping through loops.
