I don't even know where to start. At first it seemed like a legitament place to work, but between the politics and the company they are contracted to, I soon found out it wasn't. If you want to be harassed by an underqualified manager this is the place for you. The typical gaslighting technique is often used to manipulate the employees into doing what they want them to do. They are also known for claiming ignorance when addressing overtly obvious issues along with giving employees empty promises. Several HR policies have been amended to suit the dysfunctional operation in an attempt to hold employees responsible for management issues. Moving on to the treatment of the staff is cringeworthy. Some dispatchers are held accountable for the actions of others rather than management addressing the problems head on. Situations tend to spin out of control due to the lack of assertiveness and leadership. If you have a life outside of work, forget about it. They expect for you to cover the hides of the habitual offenders. Being on time doesn't matter neither does calling out within the allotted time to look for coverage. The schedule isn't updated giving the facade that you have a relief at the end of your shift, when management is well aware that you don't. The hostile work environment makes it extremely difficult to operate and provide safety to public effectively. If you have a struggling personal life, such as issues with a spouse or children in need of constant guidance this will not be the place for you. The turnover rate is unbelieveable. To talk about the compensation is a joke. They will state that you are not entitled to a higher rate due to the job description, when the reality is, you do more than what is in the description. I can go on and on. Save yourself and continue looking for a job.
