Pros

Private 911 center, tends to be higher paying compared to other metro Atlanta 911 centers. Advancement opportunities and relocation opportunities to other 911 centers that iXP operates.

Cons

12 hour working shifts, directors and supervisors have slight favoritism, still susceptible to drama like other 911 centers.

Pros

They recognize accomplishments if you work hard. Compensation was good for my position and the size of the company. The industry the company is in is dependent on tax dollars and therefore the company's stability and income stream relatively good.

Cons

Small company with limited upward mobility. My job was in New York City/Nassau County but it is a NJ based company, I felt detached from corporate, management and corporate events. I saw a high turnover of employees. My health insurance was a NJ based carrier and this was problematic for me when looking for providers in New York state.
