Pros

I have been working at the Ian Martin Group, Bangalore for more than 3 years and many more years to come. This is my 3rd company in my career and the best ever. Entire company has the visibility to see where the company is trending and their transparency; i love it. The only company i have ever heard that listens to people, takes their advice before taking any decision. They value employees and the society; kudos for that. The entire company is going TEAL soon (to know more about TEAL, read the book "REINVENTING THE ORGANIZATION") and i believe the first staffing company to go TEAL in India. I love working here and my colleagues too.

Cons

Every company will have cons but, i have nothing top of my head that bothers me to write here.

Pros

Energetic group of people, who are all dedicated to the success of the company. Great culture, a lot of focus on self development (leadership, giving back, volunteering). Pay is reasonable, large focus on making a living wage.

Cons

Not all teams are on the same page, distinct difference between departments and not a lot of cross communication between teams and offices. No talented jerks, but some jerks still exist (not the companies fault tho, jerks are everywhere)

Pros

Can work from home. Not much else is a pro. This is just a poorly run company if you are working in the USA. The company is a Canadian company based in Toronto so Canadian employees get the required benefits from Canadian law that are not passed along to the US worker.

Cons

Like the previous review from 12/25/11 stated there are NO benefits. Some employees are salaried and the salary contract specifies NO overtime without written consent but managers will request and demand overtime work, without the contractually required overtime pay. There are no forecasted hours of work so 1 worker may get 60 hours worth of work 1 week and 4 hours the next and 10 hours the next and so on. Salaried employees that work overtime 1 week (or multiple weeks in a row) are not averaged for the weeks where there are fewer hours so management always expects and demands 40 minimum per week regardless if the previous week you worked way over 40.
