Hometown friendly people working together. Everyone knows you. Good place for career advancement. IMC works to keep the employees happy and satisfied

Cons

Hospitals, in general, are suffering from decreased reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid patients, but we're still standing, on our own

Pros

Employees are like family; Employees pull together to support each other - in work to accomplish goals for the betterment of our facility and for the patient - and also in our personal lives when one of our own is suffering (fund raisers to help when a coworker is battling cancer, lost a home to fire, lost a loved one). AWESOME retirement plan and benefits. Administrators all live here - not from some other state and commuting here 1/2 day Monday thru 1/2 day Friday - thus, they are out in the community and have buy-in for this hospital to be successful.

Cons

Healthcare in general is stressful due to all the budget cuts - no one employer's fault.
