They are acquiring company after company with the hopes of being sold. I worked for one of the companies acquired, and it was a textbook business class case study of what not to do if you value the assets (employees) you are acquiring even the slightest. I was assigned a new manager who had little to no experience and didn't take any effort to learn our business. I was a critical piece to the business, and no one cared to even learn my name until it was too late. They also changed benefits for the worse, and didn't make up for it in any way (aka, I pretty much took a pay cut). You can take my story, and replace it with any of the other person at my company. Those who are left I am sure are trying to get out. Idera completely destroyed the culture which had been built up over decades in a matter of weeks.
Why am I writing this review? Because you probably have come to Glassdoor to learn more about the company who recently acquired you (like we all did). Believe the reviews. Do your homework and search other acquisitions. This is the playbook, and the mass exodus of the company is what they want. Bad times are ahead for the company I came from because the best talent is gone, more cuts are coming for R&D and support, and the customer base knows it. Its a shame, but we are far from an outlier with regards to how Idera acquires companies.
