      Employees Not worth the effort to communicate with

      Pros

      No Pros that I can come up with.

      Cons

      No regard for any person in the acquired company. Communication is non-existent, which terrifies all employees who have seen all of their management summarily dismissed. This is their goal as employees start a mass exodus. This allows them to reduce these costs will increase margins. Product and customer knowledge are not valued in any way which will ultimately lead to mass dissatisfaction. They hope the lost maintenance revenue doesn't exceed the cost savings of eliminating all the experienced staff before they can sell or go public.

      Pros

      Honestly everything was going great the way it was before (pre-Idera time aka Embarcadero). We had month birthday celebrations, free food, fun atmosphere. Now, the only Pro is that I was able to keep my job after the acquisition.

      Cons

      Cheap company. Not willing to do any outings. Any bonuses offered are almost a joke. There's "free" food, BUT only because you have a monthly credit to buy food/snacks/drinks from "the Market". No company participation's in events that could put company products out there and bring in new customers. Changing our daily tools for a cheaper replacement. Does not match in 401k. Benefits are the bare minimum. All the top performers at the company quit once they saw all the changes.

      Pros

      - They are completely unresponsive to any emails or questions, so at least you rarely ever have to go through the pain of talking to any of them. - If you are looking for a place where you can make the world a worse place, you've found it. - They move extremely slowly, so you'll have an easy time looking for a new job once they acquire your company.

      Cons

      - They do not care to listen to anyone about anything, even it's an answer to a question they specifically asked you .
