      Bad/Selfish management. No room for growth at all.

      Pros

      Great pay and great product. I think the CEO is strong and they communicate fairly well.

      Cons

      Management on the sales side was lackluster. Filled with people who only care about their own agenda. "What's in it for me" kind of people. They played favorites and spun stories to higher ups to make them look good. Took credit for things the team did to put them in a better position for their career. Very poor decisions were made to give a managerial position to someone with no experience in management or the role they were managing. HR couldn't care less about lower level concerns or input.

      I’m sorry to hear that despite a strong belief in our product and our leadership you had a negative experience with sales management. It’s true that we do sometimes give opportunities to those who have proven themselves, seeking to promote from within first, but that doesn’t excuse the behavior that you have described.       Fast-paced, but Fulfilling Opportunity

      If you are looking for an opportunity to learn and grow as both a person and a professional at a fast-paced, rapidly growing start up in a HOT industry, Illumio is the place for you. From Day 1, you will be owning projects, taking on responsibility, and impacting the overall business, regardless of your role or department. The team is whip smart and supportive. The culture is good and getting better and the company is on a legitimate rocket ship.

      Cons

      Much like any start up in Silicon Valley or elsewhere, things are moving a million miles a minute and that can feel stressful and overwhelming at times. But your experience at Illumio is dependent on what you put into it. Invest in others and others will invest in you.

      Great Company Culture, Great Product and Great People

      Pros

      Illumio has an excellent ground breaking product that solves hard security challenge the industry is facing. Illumio Sunnyvale HQ offers great culture and work life balance. Teams are motivated to ship a quality product with highest integrity. Plenty of cultural events hosted to make this place fun. I highly recommend working here.

      Cons

      Illumio offers free food all days. Sometimes there are not enough choices for people on restrictive diet.
