I agree with you that our office experience team does a great job in giving us a place where folks want to come, gather, and collaborate. The strength of our executive team - along with having the absolute best product in the market today - is a key reason for Illumio's success to date, and is a critical success factor for what I believe is our bright future. Please feel free to reach out to me on email, Slack or in the office if you'd be open to sharing more about how we can ensure that what you joined for aligns better with your experience. Pros

Mundane. Just a job. All of the management left with the former CRO who had loyalty throughout the company. CMO was a star but she took all of her peopl. CPO, co-founder, head of BD, all left because of the tyrant CEO. Board has a problem

Cons

Too many to mention. The problems start at the top. CEO isn’t likable and employees want a new leader across the board. Look at the break rooms, they are packed with people interviewing on zooms.

Hi there - thanks for sharing your thoughts on your experience working here. Knowing that you're still an active colleague with us, I wanted to offer to connect at your convenience confidentially to hear more about where we can redouble our efforts to deliver on what you joined for more than two years back. Speaking with colleagues in Sunnyvale last week, I know how excited we all are to welcome John as our new CRO both to our executive team and to the company overall. Of the companies I've had the pleasure to support in my career, I hold Illumio's leadership team among the very strongest I've served with and I'd like to learn more about how we can help more of that show through for you and your experience here. Please reach out if you'd be open to a conversation - each of us improves only with feedback and our leaders and our company are chief in that commitment. Thanks, David Chief People Officer

Pros

I like the vibe of my CRO. He’s loosened up a lot lately and lets his personality show more and gives more space then in the beginning. He was proving a point early. He is very approachable but I haven’t spend a ton of time with him. I believe he really does care about us. I know why his directs love him. The team has a distinct way of doing things and they have their methods, but mostly helpful. If you present another view, they give you space and respect. I like that.

Cons

Don’t make same mistakes twice, then you see some tension. RVP Management is wound tightly. The CEO is hyper intense and needs to stop yelling during all hands. Plus, no one cares what he thinks on return to office constantly. He repeats himself way too much as if he’s arguing with himself. A company issued Valium might help him. He seems very under stress and unsure anyone on his team tells him how poorly he is thought of by most people. He has run off most of his team. HR was better under the former leader, we liked her and she was pleasant and wasn’t afraid to smile .
