I’m sorry to hear that you felt our culture had suffered in the expansion of our leadership team. In 2019, Illumio embarked on an important transition as we moved from start-up to an established, mid-sized company. It’s true that this introduced more infrastructure and more rigor around our practices. However, the aim was to create an environment that is both fun and challenging for employees and that has the consistency and velocity to scale—which we're doing! Also part of this transition is that Illumio has turned a greater focus inward, expanding our commitment to listening to all of our team members. I agree with your statement that ‘leadership shows itself during a crisis’ and I’d take it one step further to say that a team does as well. I appreciate your observations on the clarity and consistency of communication during COVID-19—it’s great to hear and something that we’ve worked hard to ensure during this time.
