      Pros

      Opportunity to work on cutting edge security and virtualization technology with some really good people who are passionate about the technology, want to make a difference and enjoy working together. Lots of great food and good times. Tremendously talented people. Was recently asked to judge a cheesecake bake off held by one of the engineering teams. Lets just say all the entries were lovely to look and delicious.

      Yes, I think i have gained a few pounds since working here ....love every minute of it!

      Pros

      Team is turning the security industry upside down with a dramatically different idea. Great environment for folks that espouse work hard/play hard, no risk/no reward. If you love innovative technology and challenges this is your place

      Cons

      Building a new product category is hard. Not for the feint of heart as you are selling to early adopters.

      Pros

      I’ve worked with five startups and Illumio has one of the most seasoned and supportive executive teams. They’re very hands on, actively involved in both the daily operations and setting of long-term strategy for the company. Illumio’s technology is sophisticated and expectations are high, but I enjoy the challenge of delivering our solution to prospects/customers. The culture is very much “work hard, play hard” and there’s a true team spirit across all parts of the organization. Corporate HQ is a fun environment and feels like family, especially when we eat together (and well) as we do each day.

      Cons

      Illumio is a demanding startup environment, and it's not for everyone.
