Coordinator Management

Pros

The pay increases each year if you do well. If you get high member surveys and are perfect in all chat or call aspects, then you might get bumped up a level. Lots of paid time off. Used to be a healthier work environment. Currently not so much for Coordinators.

Cons

* New Supervisors for the newer coordinator teams are not great. The Nav leads and supervisors were amazing. The All-Included-Care management? Pray you get placed into a good team. Teams constantly change. Do not expect to stay in the same team for even 1 year. I see people moved constantly. Others get to stay in the same team for years and I wonder why. * You can feel like a pawn depending on which Supervisor you are put under. Some care about you and see you working hard and improving, while others will put you on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) as soon as they have a chance. I've seen many coworkers who do well with and advocate for members terminated, or who had to quit due to the stress this past year * you have to get approval to do any outbound calls. This started this year. If you need to call a provider, the carrier, or research for a member, you need permission to make that outbound call. You also better hope that you can research and provide only accurate information fast in between calls. * the culture is good outside of this. * Lots of the care team or coordinators help each other, but many do not trust the newer Supervisors in the newer teams. Things are horribly divided. The changes in the past two years are not all great for everyone. * If you are employed with one of the customers (your own employer) that are part of our All-Included-Care package and are looking at careers here, please know that the front coordinator teams are trying their best to accurately assist you even with the internal management issues. Those positive member satisfaction scores can allow someone to keep their job.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights. The cons you outlined sound super frustrating and aren't the experience we want anyone to have. We'll share this with Care Team leadership, as they're always open to feedback.

Pros

Dedicated, smart coworkers Fairly solid benefits Remote-first culture

Cons

Like many pre-IPO companies, this place faces a host of challenges -- including politics, favoritism, and nepotism among leadership and management. These issues are palpable, and their impact varies between teams. Additionally, rather than focusing their mission of better healthcare for all, attention is primarily on optics, metrics, and profit. Business strategies and goals are constantly changing, which means months-long work/ can easily be tossed in the trash. The 401(k) plan was removed years ago, and there have been continuous layoffs since then.

Our people and our mission are what make Included such a special place. But a big part of investing in our people is also ensuring team members feel that authentically come to life in the day-to-day. We take this seriously and will share it with leadership - we can't fall short here, like we did for you. Thanks for your review and all you contributed as part of the team!
