Pros

your fellow co workers are great

Cons

The most overworked employees I ever seen these people care more about numbers then the actual hard work these employees put in day in and day out. They honestly do not even care about there members either they are just another case to get out we are pushed to get these members out by giving them first provider we find and why is that because we are over worked under appreciated and if we don’t get so many cases out a day we get hit these so called critical misses. And to many will put you on a so called performance plan should be called a stress plan. Being on a stress plan is the most horrible thing you can do to someone they say it helps it absolutely does the opposite they just criticize you so much to the point where you will need the mental health services or push you to the point where you feel like a complete failure. This is suppose to be a health company and in all reality you lose your health with this company the supervisors ask how can we help I personally think they say it because it sounds good because they will not help not one bit they will we are to busy right now or completely ignore you. This company has a drive for healthcare alright they drive you to use all the healthcare benefits you have because you will be stressed anxious and most of all hate life by then end of it. They rather let amazing workers go and then which causes to add more work to the others which will just become a domino effect upper management needs to stop listening to there leads and supervisor and hear the actual people who do the work out because those leads will say anything to save there butts it’s a very toxic work environment.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your honesty and are sorry to hear this. Your insights are important, especially as this does not represent the experience we ever want for a member of the team. We’ll be addressing these concerns with our management team and wish you the best in all you do next.

Pros

Remote work culture. Competitive compensation depending on where you live. Modern tech stack.

Cons

The COVID-Era hype has died down, and there have recently been two rounds of layoffs, an awkward corporate merger, increased outsourcing, cuts to healthcare and retirement benefits, and as a result, brain drain. The engineering architecture is a mess, and the quality of the application has been in constant decline. Upper management is authoritarian and out of touch, and they show clear in-group favoritism. Users hate the application because it's ultimately just a middle man they don't want, offering a low quality of care. The company really leans heavily into "woke" politics and unless that's something you take particular interest in, you won't feel welcome here.

Thank you for taking time to share your perspective - we're glad you enjoyed our remote-first approach. We have grown as an organization, but remain steadfast in our commitment to creating an environment where team members can bring their whole selves to work, captured in our company value "We Seek Diverse Perspectives."

Pros

- They sell you on the mission and the impact the work brings to people who really need healthcare - There are some experienced engineers to learn from

Cons

- Tech is outdated, and the senior staff engineers often want to have a say in the direction of what other teams should do without actually doing the work - Deeply political engineering culture where the loudest voice wins. People who do work often don't get credit for what they do, and it's given to leads or managers - Lots of churn and burn. Not truly a tech company but a healthcare company - Low total comp compared to other tech companies (stock options are expensive and basically worthless) - The CTO is very out of touch with technology and is just a talker. He's more fitting to be the CEO than Owen is, but has no tech vision. - Product and tech upper management in general is clueless, toxic, political, and out of touch. If you pay close attention, their words are empty all talk without direction and vision - They pivoted couple times already and are not any closer to dominating competition or IPO'ing

We take your feedback seriously and will share this with leadership, as your experience doesn't represent who we want to be. For compensation - we do conduct market analyses to make sure our compensation is competitive. We're also actively working through the tech debt accrued from merging two companies and feel confident that our roadmap positions us to execute on our value of "We Lead the Way."
