Pros

Really smart people who build great products and get stuff done. Truly collaborative environment - you don't get ahead here by stepping on others. Strong guiding principles and a point of view on what needs to happen to reshape American health care, balanced with a healthy dose of humility about exactly how that gets done. Willingness to invest in large and promising new markets that may not have a short term payoff. Aggressive, customer-driven roadmap that is going to take the company to new heights. All employees are option-holders, so it's easy to act as owners.

Cons

If you're thinking of joining Grand Rounds, you need to take a read of your own barometer and comfort for change. This is a dynamic place and things don't stay still for very long. If you don't like change, probably better to look for a stodgy incumbent player.

Pros

I love how fast Grand Rounds is growing, and how committed our colleagues are to improving healthcare. Every month we review an impactful patient story, which reminds us of why we work so hard each day. I love my job!

Cons

As expected with rapidly growing start-ups attempting to scale, there are expected growing pains.

Pros

The benefits are great. You won't find better health insurance at any other company. There's also healthy snacks and drinks in the kitchen. We get lunch provided at least once a month. Unlimited vacation and sick time is pretty awesome. The team is pretty down to earth and is behind the mission that patients come first. The office manager is always planning fun events for us, so that we don't seem too much like a call center. Unfortunately, she left, so it will be interesting to see if that continues.

Cons

Limited growth opportunities. It's a starting role for new grads.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. I'm glad that you enjoy the perks we offer at Grand Rounds. One of the things I love about working with employees early in their careers is the enthusiasm they bring to every challenge. I'd welcome the opportunity to hear more from you on how you think we could provide better growth opportunities for employees -- whether that be lateral or vertical, inter- or cross- departmental. Keeping employees engaged and growing is both exciting and challenging when we have so many bright people. I look forward to hearing your ideas! --Danielle Snow, SVP Patient Care
