They are in a constant budget crisis, even long before the economy went south. Something is wrong with the budget model/process. Work/Life balance is bad. You don't have the feeling you can enjoy your time away from work because of the pressures. Many people in upper positions are too rooted in bygone methods and attitudes, making change extremely difficult.

Communication is a major problem at Clarian Health. There is very little communication between business units and locations. It is quite common for different units and/or locations to have the same problem. The problem is not addressed on a system wide basis. Each unit/location is allowed address the problem on a local level. This allows for inconsisitent results.
