I’ve had the opportunity to work at Infineon Technologies for the past few years, and overall, my experience has been quite positive. Here are some key points from my perspective: Flexible hours, work load depends on teams and management. There is huge variation within same director. 401k matching is good and have this wellness expense which is a nice touch Infineon has a very supportive and collaborative culture.

Benefits are good and coworkers were nice.

Cons

When time for cost reduction measures, the US employees are targeted because of their pay. Even though pay is high in Europe, US employees will be targeted first because we are easier to let go. Many jobs were off-shored to low cost countries.

strong technical teams; company invests in RnD to develop newer solutions

Cons

Utter disregard for employees health with meetings running from morning 7am to evening 10pm. Everyone gives opinion in large cross functional meetings with no convergence. Anyone bringing up challenges to senior management meetings would be labeled as non-technical or non-problem solvers and would be expected to let go in the name of cost cutting. This is true especially with specific biz unit in US. The reduction-in-force process has been going on for more than 18 months almost every quarter and it will continue for another year.
