      Great company with solid track record and future potential

      Pros

      Great management that really does believe in regular and transparent communications. If you're paying attention, you know what the priorities are and where you fit and how you can help. Work/life balance is for real and colleagues are smart and nice to work with. I've been at the company nearly 6 years through a number of executive changes but changes have been for the better.

      Cons

      Could be more aggressive externally. We tend to be conservative and overly modest compared to some of our competitors.

      A Great Career

      Pros

      I've been with Informatica for 16 years and it has offered an incredible career for me. The technology is rock solid and industry leading which makes life much easier in general, and the culture maintains much of the silicon valley start-up feel from when I joined in 1999. When I'm asked what has kept me here for so long I always respond "the technology and the people".

      Cons

      The transition from a public to a private company in 2015 was disruptive as you can imagine, but that is now in the rear view mirror and everyone is bought into the vision and excited for the future.
