Pros

Informatica has always had stellar technology and a great reputation with customers. Since going private, the company has made outstanding selections in building out the new C-Suite. With the new leadership in place, the stage is set for dynamic innovation. Having worked here for some time, I find the culture more unified than every before, with a new-found focus on big picture alignment and collaboration across all functions and teams.

Cons

As a private company, participation in long-term future financial success is limited for the employee base at present. Adjustments should be made to profoundly reward individual contributors for the results of their work in the years to come.

Great products and superb field technical support

Cons

Worst sales mgt I have worked under in 20 years. Never trust compensation plan. No ethics at all levels of sales management. Treat top performers with dishonesty. I would never recommend anyone in field sales to work there.

We regret that you have a negative view of your time with Informatica in Sales. As you know, the Company went through significant changes in 2015, some that specifically affected Sales. Those moves were designed to make Informatica more responsive to the market as well as more competitive. Compensation has been designed to attract and retain top talent (otherwise, we wouldn’t be as successful as we are), and the Company shortly will announce a revised plan to make Sales opportunities here even more appealing. I have 20 years of work experience and have close to three years of experience with Informatica. Its a perfect place for anyone whom wanted to be a shining DIAMOND! Yes, its a hidden gem in the silicon valley as it has a potential to sustain as a Data Integration Leader for next several years! It has a tremendous opportunities for the employees who wanted to learn, grow and shine in the new technologies. The People, Process and theTechnology truly encourages and supports each employee to grow in their career. Most importantly when you go to the customer site, you get a tremendous respect from the customer as you are representing INFORMATICA. My big THUMBS UP to anyone who can wish to join us!!!!

Cons

Employee stock purchase options is missing after becoming a private organization. But I hope the management already knows about it and hoping that would be addressed pretty soon.
