Pros

Safety is priority, innovation is good for the Food business and remuneration is competitive.

Cons

Archaic management style opposed to progressive leadership, Company values are merely stickers on a wall, EVERYONE does not BELONG while dare not have an OWNERS MINDSET.

Toxic management

Pros

There are some fantastic, hardworking people at ingredion. People who are passionate, knowledgeable and talented. There are opportunities to work with teams all over the world.

Cons

My entire team resigned within a month of each other because of one toxic and incompetent manager. This manager had already driven away several of their direct reports. We all clearly stated that their poor management and lack of knowledge was the reason for us leaving. Nearly 6 months later, they are still in post, despite being the sole reason for losing at least 5 talented and dedicated team members. That should tell you everything you need to know about the culture. Working here destroyed my mental health and yet they constantly talk about their inclusive company values.

Pros

1. Flexibility. 2. Teammates are friendly. 3. 1 day work from home per week.

Cons

1. Underpaid ,(It is really underpaid compared to most of the MNC in Malaysia). 2. Low benefit. (They provide the minimum benefit stated in the law only. ) 3. Poor communication and EQ. ( Everyone knows you are providing minimum benefit stated in the law. We know you obey to the law so we are unable to sue you, but please just increase your EQ. You don't need to emphasize on this like, the law only.....bla bla bla. This will make us feel bad. When i first heard this, my first impression is you are not taking me as an asset, if the law doesn't exist, you won't give me anything. 4. Lack of self-reflection - when they get poor rating on the survey from employees to them, what they have in mind is not their problems, they thought the problem is because employees don't understand the questions in the survey.
