      Pros

      I have enjoyed working at Ingredion for the last several years. The company is involved in many wonderful corporate citizenship / outreach activities throughout the world. I have had the opportunity to progress in my career in part due to the robust process that is in place for employee development. The financial performance of the organization has been very positive - despite the global economic situation. Management takes the long term view and is committed to the success of the company.

      Cons

      Happy with commitment to work life balance that is shown through 'Summer Hours' program at some locations. Could be even better by adding additional flexibility, including telecommuting as more of an option where possible.

      Pros

      I actually loved my job - the sales part of it. The people I did business with.

      Cons

      It depends on what division and department you work in and who your boss is and if your boss ever changes. Overall it's a cess pool of political trash and a bunch of talkers who say nothing, buzz words, bull crap, and no wins to back it up. Plenty of outright liars and fictional story tellers who get away with it. It's absolutely mind boggling! And good luck working with other departments if you need to. Everyone is in their own world and they do not care about you or your department.

      Pros

      No Pro's to speak of. This is not the same company it was even 2 or 3 years ago.

      Cons

      No increase in pay (Maybe 1-2% annually if lucky), Low bonuses, Work on Sick and PTO and if sick and calling out they will threaten termination. If in a shared service center or anywhere outside of Chicago expect Career Opportunities to be horizontal or null.
