Pros

As a current employee at InquisIT, I can say that my experience with the company has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the comments about InquisIT on Glassdoor mentions that they are "in it for the right reasons", and I absolutely agree with that assessment. The guys running the place want to see you succeed, and really do acknowledge hard work. Going out to happy hour or a team lunch in celebration of a new cert or major accomplishment is not an uncommon occurrence. Management has been nothing but transparent to all employees here, and emphasizes open communication, which I respect quite a bit. This is not the "suggestion box" type of "open communication" either. Every email and form sent gets read, and similarly gets a response, which I feel is really important (yet often overlooked) by other companies. I have tested this a handful of times with my direct supervisor, and appreciate having an ear to voice concerns or to throw ideas around with at odd hours. Additionally, I have never felt "left in the dark" by anyone in management regarding my future, and have never felt misled or strung along by anyone above me. InquisIT is not a "top-heavy" organization, and I don't feel smothered by office politics. Hard work is recognized and respected by all levels, and I feel like this is rooted in the fact that management "gets" it. They are regular hard-working guys like the rest of us. Additionally, I like that management has a very real interest in making sure everyone's free time is honored and respected. I don't think there has been a time where I have had to work on a Saturday, and it wasn't acknowledged in some form or met with praise.

Cons

Nothing I can think of.

Pros

I have mixed feelings about working at InquisIT. I felt the need to write a review because 3 reviews on Glassdoor, from 2016, are fake. They were created to "brand" the "new" InquisIT. The funny thing is the old InquisIT was great.

Cons

Slowly as the executive management changed, so did the culture. It's amazing how if an employee is told the change is exciting, and that "great" things are on their way, the employee believes that. In truth employees were slowly let go, new employees were hired (all new employees conveniently had a tie to the new executive management), what once felt like a family was now every man for their own. Employees were pinned against each other, and sides were divided. The sad part is, the employees that truly love everything that is InquisIT, were the reason it was worth working there.

Pros

A company in business for the right reasons. Serving the federal government and doing so in a financially and socially conscious manner. This company really cares, focuses on the mission, and delivers.

Cons

No cons that I can think of.
