Pros

The pay puts a roof over my head. The co-workers on contract with me a good. The schedule is not too horrible.

Cons

The management where I am located at and at Insight Global have very poor communication and organization skills. Insight Global management (Office and resource management) don't really care the contractors, they are just out for the commision. The Insight Global Resource Manager at my location is no where to be found unless you actually catch him wondering around being social.

Pros

Gave me the strength to get through any other job because of how poorly I was treated

Cons

-insane work hours (not only 7:30-5 everyday but there’s also expectations for you to be at happy hours, dinners, even weekend bonding events, etc. They normalize this by saying you’ll “make your best friends” and “it’s all about how hard you’re willing to work” -extremely low salary -they use public humiliation as a tactic to try to make you work harder, stay at the office later, etc -0 flexibility -if you have a bad day or week, management is on you to get your numbers up and will threaten to put you on a performance plan / path to fire you (for literally one off week) -there are regularly people crying because of managements incredibly unethical and borderline illegal “tactics” to make you fit their mold -essentially only hire from fraternities/sororities, fresh out of college (if you’re not 23 or younger you’re called “too old” to start there) -they’ll tell you the “culture has changed” since getting a new ceo, but it hasn’t. They use the same tactics but rebranded to seem less unethical

Terrible benefits, disorganized company, mediocre pay, pushy recruiters

Pros

- Remote positions available - Coworkers

Cons

- Benefits aren't great, Their coverage options are sparse, pricey, and cover almost nothing. - Company feels disorganized. While onboarding and dealing with benefits, it seems like there's no dedicated HR team. Got a problem with your 401k enrollment? Too bad, Question about healthcare? Here's a generic pamphlet. You'll be left to deal with it on your own, and the recruiter you work with has no idea how to help. The recruiters are downright pushy. During the hiring process, there was pressure to work on their incredibly fast timeline. I understand that time kills all deals, but they were pushing for interviews to be done within 24 hours. Not only is this little time for the candidate to prepare, but it is also hard to schedule if you work a full-time schedule (and they're not sympathetic at all).
