I have had the opportunity to work in a few different roles over the past 5 years at Insight and the consistent and inspiring element of this organization is the incredibly passionate and dedicated teammates across all areas of our business. I began my journey at Insight with no experience in the technology industry (and was pretty darned intimidated about that!), but my insatiable curiosity was encouraged, and combined with the generosity of teammates and leaders across the business Insight has helped me grow my skillset in every area. From learning about and embracing the fast paced clip of technology and innovation to the intricacies and nuances of customer relationship development and earning the right to be a trusted advisor, and being encouraged to lean into my strengths as a communicator and creative thinker - these are just a few of the reasons why I am on #teamfuchsia. I feel supported and encouraged to embrace a growth mindset, and am provided opportunities to develop professionally constantly. I feel valued and recognized by the myriad of ways we celebrate each other and the "attitude of gratitude" is palpable in our organization. Additionally, I am grateful for the Teammate Resource Groups at Insight and my work with our Women With Insight team, encouraging women to pursue careers in technology and supporting them along the way, this is not just rewarding, but invaluable to me.
Cons
As with most large organizations, the pace of change can be challenging. And the IT industry moves faster than most. There is always room for improvement and Insight owns this. Do we have work to do? Yes. Will there always be work to do? Yes.
