      Pros

      Learn about the Channel business this is a great job out of college if you want access to the IT field. If you are looking to make contacts into this field and expand this is a great place to start.

      Cons

      Quote and stress of meeting your numbers. Every account you take on increases your quota number. It goes up and up be prepared for this going into the job. Understanding all the different license programs. You will have access to a license specialists who can help guide you. However you need to be sharp on your game or you cannot make it.

      Pros

      Calence is a dynamic and cooperative environment to work in. The people at Calence are very smart and you never feel alone, even when you are a single consultant out delivering on a client site. The top-level management is excellent and very forward-thinking as well.

      Cons

      Some mid-level management seem a bit out of touch with their own people. In addition, as the company has grown larger, it seems there are a few more people who are true 8 to 5'ers... those who don't have the 'whatever it takes' attitude for client satisfaction and getting things done.

      Pros

      Some of the people were very professional.

      Cons

      Not a good environment for questioning the status quo. Company grew too fast in the last five years and operational processes were not reworked to keep up with the new environment. SAP upgrade turned into a nightmare that seems to not have an end in sight.
