      Company Going Downhill

      Pros

      For years, I loved my job and my company. Great and knowledgeable team mates, help and support available and remote working was a plus. That all changed when the new CEO came onboard

      Cons

      Constantly changing bonus structures to make commissions impossible to reach. Firing older (read "expensive") talent and off-shoring jobs means no one knows what they're doing anymore and everyone is scared for their job. Getting rid of all the core competencies to chase a new direction. Great for shareholders and awful for everyone else. Clients and staff leaving in droves for more stability and knowledge

      When I hired over 20 years ago I said "if I was not happy I would move on."

      As the company has grown it has tried to keep it's small company attitude I knew over 20 years ago. ► When I retired 4 years ago I was asked to stay on as Part time

      As the company keeps growing and more are working remote the human interaction (face-to-face) is affected.
