It can be a good job with commissions.

Cons

The company has a problem with direction and shifts responsibilities too much to become efficient in any way. There is process waste and inefficiency that usually leaves a bad taste in your client's mouth so be very careful if you want to sacrifice part of your mental security to increase the value of the shareholders.

Pros

Working in this industry for 10+ years, it was very refreshing coming into a new working environment and have a truly welcoming culture. While it takes time to build strong relationships, the amount of teammates that have made an effort to create positive interactions with me have made Insight a very comfortable organization to integrate into.

Cons

- a lot of "status quo" decision-making - too much energy from management applied to activities that aren't revenue producing - some apathy toward new (to Insight) ideas

Embraces diversity. Harassment is not an issue.

Cons

-Can be unprofessional and unfair (eg. delaying paying out commission for a month and only informing of changes an hour before we are to get our pay stubs). -Shareholders always come before employees. So profits come first and teammates get squeezed and beaten over the head to get every revenue $ and profit $. It is all about growth and so you can make a decent salary when you hit your numbers, but also suffer if you miss.
