Pros

Many of the positions are remote, so you should be able to live where you want and work for Insight. The people on my team are very talented and helpful; just a good bunch to work with. Compensation is good but, of course, check the numbers for your situation. The organization is doing well and has a bright future.

Cons

Insight is constantly growing (which is good) and acquiring new companies. It has some growing pains. Mainly, we just keep adding processes and systems from the acquired companies, making for more work and confusion.

Thank you for your feedback and for pointing out the flexible working schedule that you have by working remote. We also believe that the pay rates are very competitive to what other companies within the same industry offer it's competitors. Thank you again for your feedback.

Pros

Did you know that insight is no.23 on fortune’s 50 best workplaces in technology? Work from home. Wellness initiatives such as Yoga classes and wellness committee. Stand up desk. Great city views lots of sunlight. Competitive salary

Cons

Business Travels are hard to get approved. In an industry where change is constant some business events can make a shattering difference between being ahead of the curve or behind both on a knowledge basis and from a networking angle.

Thank you for recognizing that Insight has received a very high rating as one of the best places to work. Insight is very proud to have this recognition. The Wellness program is another great benefit that Insight offers its employees as well as the work-life-balance. For travel approvals, please have those conversations with your manager as they may have a solution to help with quicker approvals. Thanks again for the 5 star review!

Pros

- Good corporate values. - They try to make it a fun place to work and cater to millennials. (working from home, notebooks, dressing down, 5@7 ect) - Learning potential is huge : great IT school, great sales team. - Senior Management is always open to feedback and improvement. This is highly underestimated

Cons

- Base pay is weak at best - Bilingualism (FR/EN) compensation is same as EN only, making it hard for Insight to retain their FR employees, given the base pay and the competitive nature of the sales talent market in Montreal. - Some key, sales related, internal processes are not taught during onboarding such as book management, quota attainment strategy ect.

Fantastic 5 star review! Insight's values are extremely important and the environment is very fun and friendly. If you do have questions regarding the pay rates, please have those conversations with your manager or with your HR Business Partner. They should be able to answer any questions you may have.
