      Pros

      Lots of goodies from partners, but they cut back about 80% of the free food days and such, so really, no Pros.

      Cons

      Low pay, Inexperienced managers, the same people are always recognized at events and meetings - so if you want to make it into the "in" group, follow the clique and do what they do. Especially the women, extremely cliquey and do not let outsiders in to be friends not matter how hard you try.

      Pros

      There is a lot of opportunity for sales at Insight. They also have a fun atmosphere Impressive relationships with customer base and impressive ability to extract funding & marketing dollars from partners.

      Cons

      Incredibly stingy in regards to commission, base salary, and benefits. Extremely disorganized with a lack of basic processes or much of a set career path. Very outdated systems (particularly CRM system) and billing methods requiring sales people to spend insane amounts of time on processes and administrative work instead of prospecting, cross selling and taking a consultative sales approach. Extremely corporate & poltiical at times. Company schedules lots of partner trainings and activities that take away sales reps time to sell (Insight charges partners for these trainings so they are profiting immensely just at the expense of their employes time).

      Pros

      Overall a great group of people to work with (at the contributor level). Several unique benefits (many free breakfasts if you work in the Harl office, tickets to sporting events, tchotchkes galore. Good time off once you have been there 3 years - but vacation time is use it or lose it so no carry-over and no payout when you leave.

      Cons

      You will be trapped in a cube that is as small as legally allowed. Management asks for the impossible and gives no thought into how you are expected to get it done. No career development. Minimal promotions (and those that are promoted are often done with no regard to actual skills).
